
Chris Toland, BS, MS, NSCA-CSCS, USAW1, CFNP
Chris is our Clinical Director of Personal Training Services at EPT.
Chris earned his bachelor’s in exercise science in kinesiology from Penn State in 2011. He earned his master’s in sport and exercise physiology with a biomechanics and motor learning concentration from West Chester in 2017. Chris holds NCSA-CSCS, CPR/AED and USA Weightlifting – Level 1 Sport Performance Coach certifications.
Additionally, Chris is a Certified Functional Nutritionist (CFNP).
Chris Toland joined EPT in February 2023. He spent the 2022 season at The University of Virginia, where he worked with the women’s basketball team.
Before his season at UVA, Chris spent one year at Missouri State University working with women’s basketball and women’s golf.

Preceding MSU, Chris spent five years in a similar role at Delaware, where he coached the Blue Hens’ men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, golf and women’s tennis teams, creating and implementing both in-season and offseason training programs. He also assisted with the Delaware football, men’s lacrosse and track and field teams. Prior to Delaware, Chris served an Olympic Sports Performance Strength and Conditioning Internship at Temple University. Chris has more than a decade of experience. He has excelled as a strength and conditioning coach, fitness coordinator and personal trainer. Chris’s expertise includes athletic performance, movement science, biomechanics, anatomy and motor learning.
