Coleman is a Personal Training Support Specialist at EPT. He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, the scientific study of human movement and the biomechanics of exercise. This academic credential provides the framework in prescribing proper biomechanical exercise.
After graduating, Coleman obtained his personal training certification (CPT) from the prestigious National Academy for Sports Medicine (NASM). This certification is NCAA-accredited and in the fitness industry, NCAA accreditation is the gold standard.
While in college, Coleman served as captain of the MSU Club Ice Hockey Team, where leadership, teamwork and dedication were key to personal and team success.
With a minor in Coaching, Coleman gained valuable experience in fitness instruction. As Assistant Coach
for the MSU Club Ice Hockey team, Coleman evaluated player performance, developed training programs, and helped foster team growth.
Additionally, Coleman served as a Golf Instructor for Capital Area Golf for Youth Inc., creating structured training sessions, providing demonstrations, and ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment for young golfers.
