Lynette is our Clinical Director of Nutrition Services and Director of Business Development at EPT.


Lynette Jernigan is a Certified Personal Trainer through the prestigious National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). NASM is NCCA-Accredited. In the fitness industry, NCAA accreditation is the gold standard. It guarantees that NASM meets the National Commission for Certifying Agencies’ standards for exceptional quality.


Lynette graduated from Delaware Valley University with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology. While working in the food industry for 17 years, she also trained extensively in boxing, wrestling, and MMA. Since 2014, Lynette has focused heavily on Brazilian jiujitsu. She coaches at Fundamentals Jiujitsu in Glenside, where she leads the women's program.

Lynette is also a Certified Functional Nutritionist (CFNP), Certified Food Scientist (CFS), Behavioral Change Specialist (BSC), Integrative Mental Health Provider (CIMHP) and Applied Sensory and Consumer Scientist (ASCS). With a passion for health and wellness, multiple certifications, a long career in the food industry, strong background in psychology, and understanding of the rigors of corporate America, Lynette brings a unique perspective to EPT.


Combining proper nutrition and individualized personal training is the key to optimal health and client success. Lynette’s background in Food Science and Culinary Arts will ensure that our popular client Snack Shack is well stocked with healthy options. She also handles production of EPT energy balls. We can’t make them fast enough! She has a keen interest in cooking and recipe development, now highlighted in our monthly newsletters.
